Thanks, and I can see that. I read through the 18E posts and those have been beneficial. Glad to be on.

Hello All
Just wanted to say hello and comment on what a great site you have. I've been
looking around a bit and I liked what I saw.
I graduated the Q-Course in 1988, and served in 20th group. Now I work for the
AL Dept. of Public Safety.
I'm looking forward to visiting with yall.

Greetings fellow Soldiers:
I sort of stumbled into here by accident, but happy I did. This looks like a good place to hang out with others.
I am a former vet, having served in the 101st Pathfinder Detachment in the late 80's before transferring over to the 12th Group in 1988 before they were deactivated. Primarily I was 11B/18B.
Today, I am a lawyer and focus mostly on corporate matters, large and small, including a forture 50 company, to a mom and pop shop.
I am looking forward to chatting with some of you.
Thanks for the welcome to the group!
P.S. Now I need an Avatar.

Greetings to all,
I orignally went through SFQC in 1978-1979 and was assigned to Camp McKall as instructor for Phase I. At that time all of the Groups were overstrength in 11B(S). Got out in 1981 and came back 1983-1986. Spent sometime with 2nd BN 7th SFG. I transitioned to 18B when the career field opened.
I recently re-enlisted with 20th SFGA .
I look forward to talking with all of you.

Who of us probably hasn't seen this classic movie at least a dozen times if not more! Were there any lawyers in the movie? I don't recall.

Found my way here as a result of Wikipedia, one of my favorite places on the web.
I'm currently attending SUNY Oswego, majoring in Global and International Studies with a concentration on East Asia, specifically China and the Middle East. I'm hoping that this will help me at least in some small in my pursuit of winning the Green Beret once I graduate.
My father and grandfather are/ were Army veterans, one of 10th Mountain Division and the other of WW2 (though I've never really been told what he did) respectively.
I'm pretty much here to lurk and learn, I'm a wannabe I suppose but a quiet and driven one. If I have any questions I'll try to make them as simple and straight-forward as possible to avoid the consternation of senior members.
Thanks alot for developing such an interesting and informative resource,
-Spec

How's everyone doing? I'm a 17 year old kid in H.S. I was referred here by someone I know in SF training. I'm basically interested in if the army is the right place for me. I don't know if I'll enlist after school, or if I'll wait to go through college. I'm just trying to get information on what the army's like on a day to day basis, training, and if it's even a good fit for me. I guess I'll be lurking. Thanks.

Try: www.goarmy.com, or talk to a recruiter.

I am a new member. I am not military or law enforcement, nor do I intend to ever give the impression that I am.
I doubt I will have anything to add, but I am here to learn.
Thank you.
