This isn't a bad WWII AF movie. Roger means heard and understood. Wilco means heard, understood and will comply. "Roger, out", "Roger, that", or "Wilco, out" would have been better. Just a point. If you want to talk the talk, you ought to do it right.

Intro

Greetings.

Currently I am serving in the Air Force as an Air Traffic controller at Pope AFB. I worked with a few Combat Controllers who recommended me to this site after I told them my interest in SF. I am separating from the AF in a few months after four years of service and researching information on NG SF Units and other enlistment options. I have enjoyed serving in the AF but after being at Pope for so long, I feel that I belong on the other side of the fence, so to speak. I have found a lot of great information here already. Thanks for your service and for allowing me to be a guest at your site.

How about just snapping to attention with a "Clear, Sergeant!" doing an about face and marching off smartly away from this situation before you start to draw any more fire.

Col M has the long iron, and you get the spotter scope. My assessment - alpha target cleared, single round - where's bravo? position still clear.
