Agreed Sir!

Though we lost the game, ( as well as any hope for the NC,) it was one helluva game, as most OU/UT matches are...always a toss up.

Was impressed with our no-huddle offense, and their balls to the wall attack on first downs. Our D started out fierce...but seemed to lose momentum by the second-half, which is where McCoy took a great deal of advantage...rightly so.

All in all, a good game day...as I see ASU and USC are on now...will watch and see!

P.S., Richard Sir, I just heard at the start of the game that after (over) a century of this being the "Red-River Shootout," it will now be refered to as the "Red-River Rivalry" by the media. Some sort of PC Sh*!
WTHever!

I wouldn't give up so quickly on chances for a NC. Texas still has to get by my Tigers next week. Mizzou wins and Tech slips up on UT, rhe Sooners run the board, they are alive. I'll cheer for them every game but the conf championship game where I hope they are playing the Tigers. This will be a long week for me. I told everyone who would listen OU would humiliate UT. Damn teasips.

It sure feels good to be a Longhorn today!

With losses by Oklahoma, LSU and Missouri, Texas moves to #1 while Alabama has a bye week. I feel a National Championship in the making...

USC did not look good beating ASU -- offense kept turning the ball over in the second half. Score should have been 63-0.

Impressive performance by Florida. I see them in the NC game at year end.

Both of my teams have perfected the "roll over and play dead" routine - especially ASU! My 'Canes just find ways to lose at the end.

You know what ZD, sometimes, I feel the exact same 'bout my guys...!

At least the Big 12 is having a great season, all-in-all.

Those darn coaches polls...if only they didn't carry so much weight...I guess.

Ah well, Boomer Sooner!

Chase is a Texan from Southlake...but Mizzou is playing Texas in Austin...so good luck with that wish.

chase

The UT recruiters told Chase and his family he was not going to get any better in college, he was already fully mature in high school. they then proceeded to sign Ryan Perilloux, who promised Texas he would win 4 Heisman and NC's. Perilloux soon backed out on UT, went to LSU. The UT coaches then approached Chase and offered to give him a chance anyway. Chase informed them he had given his word to MU and wouldn't break it. Plus he liked MU. At least, this is the story from family members. Perilloux got booted from the team at LSU last winter.
