Howdy all,

Operating on the principle that you guys have a right to know who's lurking about, thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself. Not much to tell, I'm afraid, simply a guy 'bout to be fresh out of college and figuring out his career path.

For the record, I've found the information you QPs have taken the time to post to be nothing short of invaluable. Thanks much for doing so.

Hi from Down Under,

Just wanted to intro myself, I am an XX from Oz, been lurking for a bit, thought I would do the polite thing and let you all know who I am.

No military creds, Dad served as a call-up for Vietnam, but thankfully the war ended before he was posted, so he just has some great basic training stories to share...;-)

I am very much an interested observer though, I hold what you all do in the highest regard. You probably won't see me posting much, unless it's to hold up the side against all that testosterone poisoning, but since FrontSight and Michelle seem to have that covered nicely...

Unless you're a past or present member of the Special Forces, then you've already earned it.

Introduction

Hello everyone, I was referred to this site as a good source of information. I would like to learn as much as I can before graduating the Q course.

Currently I am in SFMS, "drinking from the firehose" as they say, for this first six week portion. So far things have been going well and I intend to keep them that way, so it may be some time before I get a chance to go through the fourms as much as I would like to. That being said Chapter 9 needs some special attention tonight... (The Nervous System)

Intro

To introduce myself, I am a mother of a SF recruit. I am interested in supporting my son throughout his trainging. He is in basic right now. I was also in the Army so I know a little about military life. I also know that SF is a lot different and I have much to learn.

Thanks for allowing me to join.

Welcome Kris,
If you will PM me his name, I'll make sure he is appropriately welcomed upon his arrival at Our House. Or if you prefer, The Reaper can assist.

Welcome to all.

Gordon,
Get your ass of the internet and bury your face in that book. I wouldn't have a Medic on my Team that didn't know everything there is to know about "The Nervous System".

Welcome aboard Brother bluebb.

And here I thought it was well known the world over that Aussie chicks are the epitome of graciousness, gentleness and patience - especially with men..

Fire? I don't quite know what you would be referring to *innocent look*

Request clearance confirmation and billeting

Good day all.

Am an old, broken down rubber hose operator who likes to listen to how the next generation is approaching the craft.

Probably will be just monitoring traffic.

Welcome, Counsel. I believe you are the first criminal lawyer to register on the site. Good, now you can answer those questions. LOL

Intro

Hey all!

I'm currently stationed at Ft Bragg with the 126th Finance BN (I know, I know, POG Central.) I'm getting the waiver for early promotion to E-4 next month. I'll be training my fardiging arse off for a few more months, and hopefully go to Selection in maybe Jan or Feb. I have 2 kids, and a wife who is very encouraging of my goals. My cousin came in as an 18x, and just finished the pipeline for Commo SGT, and left for 5th Group. He had nothing but praise for the training, especially SERE. With a lot of hard work, I'm confident you'll be able to put a Quiet Professional tag on my name in a year or two. Thanks in advance for sharing knowledge.

S
