As an introduction, per guidance:

My name is Rob; I’m an intermittent lurker hereabouts and learned about the site by reading over at SOCNET. I’m another faceless bureaucrat in DC, but I referee soccer matches at a variety of levels most weekends, along with Crossfit, climbing, running and wakeboarding. I'm an avid -academic- student of low-intensity conflict, but as my frustration with my job grows, I've felt the increasingly strong pull to interview with one of the National Guard SF units in NC, WV or MD to determine my suitability.

Hello All,

I am an old 96B who spent my military career with the 1/20th SFGA in the early 90's. I enjoyed supporting SF and have a high regard for those QP's. I have a few friends still in the 20th and keep in touch with some of those I served with. Thanks for having me. AIRBORNE!

1st post

Hi all,
I just wanted to say that this site has a wealth of information and is a wonderful resource for those interested in SF. I came across this site when looking for information regarding the 20th SFG and have had most of my questions answered and am hoping to glean more information regarding all things SF. I am looking into either the 18x program or OCS and am just trying to gain as much information as I can.

Hi,

My name is Jeremiah. My MOS' are 92R/42A. Spent some time with 782nd MSB at Ft. Bragg, also with 4013th GSU at Ft.Polk. I was introduced to the site from a friend of mine. I registered becasue I will be training with 2/20th SFG, to get ready for "Selection". I'm here to read and gain knowledge of what my next 2 years will be like at Ft. Bragg and the SF once I make it through. Thanks for making this site for those of us about to go thru and those that have gone thru pipeline.

INTRODUCTION

Hello members, my name is Matt and I am an E-5 medic serving with the MNARNG, currently deployed to Kosovo. I graduated from MN State University, Mankato last spring with a bachelors degree in athletic training and have aspirations to earn my physician assistant masters some day. Before going to school for my masters I am considering serving as an 18D. I am gathering as much information as I can find about the SF field and 18D MOS, while preparing for try outs as well. The 20th and 19th SFGs are of particular interest to me, especially the 20th SF unit in Chicago. After returning home this coming summer I will continue to train, but will also continue to take some classes, prepare to take the athletic training certification, and go back to work as an EMT-B. From what I have explored so far this site and its members look very helpful and I look forward to participating.

Intro for delt53g

Im currently on Active duty in the 82nd ABN. Currently training to attend the Q course.

Ive been reading off and on of the threads for about a year now. They have been extremely helpful. I attended SFAS class 04-07 and was Selected as an 18B with Spanish. It took me lots of work to finally get to SFAS but i finally got to go after everyone turned their backs on me in my unit and wouldnt support me since i wanted to leave. They even reassigned me to ANOTHER unit after i submitted my packet.

Is there anything else i should introduce about myself? I posted something once before without and introduction and i appologize for that.

Congratulations.

What happened to you is not uncommon with candidates from the Deuce.

Welcome, and please fill in your profile, as requested.
