Hi, my name is Jon and I am currently a full-time student at the University of Albany in New York. Ive had a serious interest in special forces ever since I had the priviledge of sitting down and talking about SF with an 18e about a year ago and I hope to become an SF candidate soon. I love the site and look forward to learning. Thanks.

Welcome all!

Tony, we know exactly where Finland is.

Perhaps you have heard of Lauri Torni?

Sure have. Larry's picture was 20 feet from my bunk when I was a buck private. Among Larry there were men like Alpo Marttinen, Paavo Kairinen and Aito Keravuori. Not sure they are known as good as Larry but they were associated with him in his US SF years.

Thanks for the welcome.

We know who Simo Hayha is, too.

Stick around.

Greetings Gentlemen,

I stumbled across this site and looked around for a couple of days. I found a wealth of information on a broad range of subjects. I am a police officer working patrol and I am always looking for an edge on the street and feel this site will be a great resource. Thank you Sirs for allowing civilians' access this site. I don't think I will be doing much posting, but wanted to give an intro none the less. Feel free to ask me any LEO related questions that you wish. Thanks again and take care.

Chris

Hey, my name is Sam. Currently I am a full time student at the University of Whitewater-Wisconsin, with a Spanish and Finace double major. After graduating I would like to enlist as an 18x. I'm on this site to learn any helpful information available.

Hello

Hello everybody. I'm a recent graduate of Williams College, where I was a German major. I'm interested in joining the Special Forces. I'm also considering Air Force Pararescue. I heard about this site from a man currently in the selection process.

Thanks for running these forums,
Andrew Meador

Getting ready to re-join, I left the Army after 8 years for a 6 figure job, I've decided the corporate life is not for me and to give that up and return to service. SF is my goal. I will not be doing much posting here, just reading. Thank you for your intel.

Hello gents. I'm an Air Force Aeromedical Evacuation Medical Technician(Flight Medic). I've been in for 13 years and I'm currently doing a HQ tour so I'm flying a desk at the moment, which isn't too bad since I'm knocking out a ton of school now. I'm really interested in tactical medicine and I'm currently trying to develop a better way for us to carry our medical kits on the aircraft. I'd like to thank all the Quiet Professionals out there for there committment to service.
