Old Dog New Tricks THX for the Post... Great to hear all is going so well for Crip.
I too will say Cross training is a MUST. I will say so many People in the Military that are on the Ground NEVER Cross train.
No Medical..... No Commo (fill/Load)....... Hook-Line Kits/IED Poles, Mine detectors????? WTH!!!!! DO it.
As far as the Protective Undergarment (PUG).. This is Me.. Ask for them through your CoC. SOF - Request though your FORCEMOD and if you're in Country, get your SOTF to ask CJSOTF-A JET. They are free and if your walking, Like Crip, they will save your BALLS!! Just like Body Armor. 9+ Years ago no one really worn Body Armor. It sucks when you first start wearing them, but after a while you get use to the armor girdle. Just as you did with your Body Armor. Underwear and the PUG system.
I think every SOF guy should be getting these and everyone assigned to a VSP.

Get well soon Crip.
We'll pray here for your quick recovery and lots of sponge baths from friendly nurses in the meantime.

Sir,
You will be in the prayers of myself and my family, as will any family and friend impacted by your injury. God Bless you for your service and sacrifice.

I am so sorry to hear about the injuries, but not surprised by his positive outlook and demeanor. Praying for a meaningful recovery and great doctors, PT's, and OT's to help him get up and around soon.

I've received word via one of his SF brothers involved in his care that his healing is exceeding expectations. No doubt of course due to his tendency to take care of himself... Which of course surprises no one here.

One of the powers of the internet is Surgicalcric, is not alone, there are many people who are with him. On several other forums, people send their best wish and hopes for his recovery. Our community is smaller and closer than ever before.
Edited to add, Is there a address that we can send our regards/well wishes to Crip. I have been asked by other people, if it is appropriate. Or is there a intermediary?

He is probably checking in here periodically.
If he wants to put out his personal contact info, or that of a drop, that is his call.
Thanks for the well-wishes, I am sure he appreciates them.
