Old picture, but the Mossy has a folding stock to go with the short barrel, and the pictured stock usually goes with the 24" turkey barrel.
Been shopping for a 1911 off and on, so that's probably next.

Put this one together over leave from spare parts and a little gun show shopping. Built it because of the Mako SSR-25 stock. Heavier than I wanted, but put up slightly less than 1moa.

I did this one the other Day. Basic Krylon, Brown, Tan and Green.
1. Cleaned entire AR with Break Cleaner. Scrubbed with Soap and Hot Water.
2. Baked it 250 degrees for about thirty minutes.
3. Let Cool, Tape and paint

how well does Krylon usually hold up for you? Also are you using the ultra flat stuff that they make for hunting and what not?
picture is pretty straight forward, has the bullet pens as well with my G22.

When I do my stuff I make sure that everything is prepped good. I then do a complete base coat in FDE and then follow up with the Krylon (patterns). This helps to provide more protection. The good thing is that I can simply touch up with Krylon when needed.

Thanks, and how well does the paint usually hold up? I paint a lot of stuff so I always prep and do all the taping properly... I'm just wondering how well paint would hold up on an item like a rifle.

I did this one with just Krylon from the PX at Al-Asad back in 2006. It lasted me the 6.5 months I was on the contract. It still looked good when I turned it back in.

How did the "gun pics" thread become how to paint my gun?

My first Springfield 1903
Springfield 1903 Ser no 235188 with armory stamps reading RA-P and FJA. Researching now whether I can shoot it or just sit and stare at it. If I can't shoot it I'm going to put a bayonet on it and use it as a house gun (spear).

Shoot it.
Have a gunsmith look at it first, but TRUST ME, you want to shoot this gun. Mine holds just over 1.5 moa with M2 ammo - it is the most accurate rifle I own. And fun as $*$& to shoot!

I have two 03's,(A1/A3) but my most accurate vintage firearm is the same model Sgt. York used, a Pattern 17. Mine is made by Winchester. 03's are really sweat. I really like shooting old military firearms. 03s, P14, P17, 1910 Ross etc.
PS, on bayos, get a original, you can poke someone from a good distance a ways.
