Welcome aboard all.
Tex,
Look around and see what's up. Someone just might be able to assist you.
Good luck.

I really love spanish right now all though I am only in 3rd year spanish. I plan to learn as much as I can on this site. Thanks again.

After to many Margaritas in the Sandbox, do you teach Margaritas 101 there?

Gentlemen,
The name is MaceWindu and I am honored to be on this board...I am a long time shooter (since I was a young'n). Trained up on the AR and M1A platform.
I won't post a great deal as I would be out of my lane. I would rather sit back and gather in knowledge and gain from the prior experience from the men who have served, on this board.
Very interested in Tactics and Mindset. Once again, honored to be here.
Mace

Hello Gentlemen.
I am using that term loosely, for those of you that are NCO's as well, but it is still a term of respect that I was brought up to use. I am a young E-5 ( promoted in April, 06), and I especially like to point out the input I have already recieved on professionalism. Thanks.
I would like to aspire to eventually earning my own green beret, hopefully when we re-deploy. I am currently deployed with 2nd PLT C Co. 3STB 3BCT 101st ABN DIV (AASLT) to Iraq. Going SF has always been a dream of mine, and I am tired of dreaming, and feel that it is time to push myself past my own limits. I have been training hard here on my own, when I find time to train. Whether it be mid-day, or the middle of the night.
I would greatly appreciate any additional input, or advice that you may have for me. I know my current score on the DLAB is a 114, if I remember right. I would like to learn what I can of Persian-Farsi, before attending SFAS. I am currently enrolled in Rosetta Stone, and if anybody has any additional info, I would appreciate it. Thank you very much for your help in my own quest.
Nick

It led to copious amounts of beer each night after class. My head still hurts. (from the Persian-Farsi, not the beer )
Welcome aboard. Good luck with Persian-Farsi.

Bobcat Intro
I am an E-4 currently at Airborne School. I joined the site in February before I left for OSUT but never actually posted an intro, merely browsed. I left with a Ranger contract but toward the end of OSUT I switched it to an 18X contract. I'm looking forward to the training and am trying to take it in baby steps. Thanks for all the information that is on this website, it's been a valuable tool so far.
