Hello all,

My name is Rich. I try not to post my full name in publicly viewable sites, but if it's desired I would make an exception for this one. I've had an account on this board for sometime, but I've never felt the need to post as I don't have anything to add to most of the conversations. That said, I would like to thank those of you who have shared your knowledge. I've certainly enjoyed the good information and good discussions I've read so far.

Welcome everyone.

No need for real names here, unless you want to put it out.

Don't forget to fill out your profiles.

Best of luck.

I'm a member of the TXARNG preparing for SFAS class 003-08. I wanted to say thanks to all of you who have provided me with plenty of material to research in my quest to become a TXARNG SF soldier. I'm an 11B who just left the National Guard Sniper School, as an instructor, so I can go to SFAS. I look forward to reading more great posts from all of you.

Hello All.

Name's Chris, I'm a 21b with the 577th Sapper Co. KYARNG. My father is/was 96th civil affair bn, 1st SOCOM, 7th SFG (airborne), USASFC(A),2nd ID, 3rd SFG, then back to USASFC(A). Although now he is in the NCARNG as a Recruiter, we don't talk that much but I came here to get a better understanding of what he has done and others like him. I believe he is either SFC XXXXXXXX, or MSG XXXXXXXXXXXX now. If anyone knows him pm me.

Thanks
Chris

Chris:

You need to read ALL of the stickies and intros, and stop spamming the board with these requests for info. You might want to review your OPSEC and PERSEC briefings while you are at it.

We don't know you, and we would not put info about an SF soldier out via the net if we did.

Best of luck.

Mate if you want to know about your dad ask him, if your having issues resolve them.

In 2001 I was deployed to East Timor and on an SRT when my father died. I made it home in time for the funeral thankfully. I didn't get along well with him and we hadnt really talked since I was 16. Its something ill always regret.

Don't end up like that. You know where he is working, ring him and talk to him.

Disturbed,
On this board the "Quiet Professionals" give the advice, especially in the introductions thread. If you feel you must comment take it to PM.

Well I think I registered over a year ago and I am finally able to come back to the site. I did a search to see if I introduced myself so I wouldn't post it twice but the search didn't turn up anything so here it goes.

Hey my name is Josh, I enlisted into the NG in 2003 and I am still currently enlisted as a 19K. I'm glad I am back on this site and reading posts again as it was very informative the first go round. I'm hoping to broaden my knowledge on the liestyle and career of SF since I'm still interested in trying out.

I do have question that I will create a new post for under the appropriate section so I will hopefully receive some helpful answers.

Introduction.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

My name is Roy and I am currently preparing myself physically and mentally for the challenge to potentially become a "Quiet Professional". I am a college grad from the University of South Florida, degree in Criminology. I still currently live in Tampa but was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have two friends who were both former operators in the 7th group. They are twins, some of you might know them. I look forward to possibly becoming an operator for the 7th group aswell. But for now, I am using all my tools and assets to become a better informed and physically qualified candidate.

I welcome any PM's, feedback and motivational information.

Thank you for your time.

Very Respectfully,
Roy
