Did anyone else notice that yesterday was the day Marty McFly landed in the future?

A long overdue post just because I finally got it:

RICHARD:

If you were on the instructional team that took us from the bunny slope at Lake Eldora to crossing the Continental Divide on skis, living in snow caves and eating C Rations (not MRE's) in 1976, I owe you big time.

My SFOD (A-752) from the 7th SF Group did TDY to Denver, CO (actually, a jump into snow just outside Buckley ANG Base), followed by barracks (Aurora, CO) and met some squared away NG SF instructors who absolutely were top notch in winter warfare.

Please check your AT / ADSW orders from that time, but even if your A Team was not the one on my rotation, PM me a telephone number and next time I'm in Dallas (actually, Richardson/Plano, visiting my brother) you are entitled to a steak dinner on me).

My New Jacket came today

It gets colder here in the big D than I thought, so what better way to support a noble cause? (Hint...It is the Big Logo at the bottom of the PS.com Homepage.)

Awesome!!!

Good for you Echoes.

Carmel banana french toast for breakfast.

Day of skiing at Mary Jane on 40" of packed Cool Whip with a 3" topping of fresh Splenda. (Loaded the Le Miserables soundtrack in French on my MP3 player and annoyed the entire mountain by singing loudly in Czech accented French).

Free pie after dinner at the Village.

Happy to be a part of the global economy - BUT not this part. I got this today from a former student who is now a software developer for a NY based company.

Quote:
My morning so far:

Russian developer, handing out small bowls of strawberries to the development team.

Indian developer: What is the occasion?

Russian: What is this word, "occasion"?

Me: I think he's just trying to be nice.

Russian: They are raspberries...good for you.

Me: Those are strawberries...

I'm gonna keep that thought/image for when I need to wistfully take my brain out of a meeting room. Thanks.

I work for an electronics distributor and often our suppliers hold contests/promos and the like. My office won a good one, we each received a 50.00 gift card, won a free lunch and an additional 200.00 gift card for the branch to spend as we wish. (branch party, etc)

But the coolest part of the win was an opportunity enter a money booth and grab all the cash you could. They filled it with 20's, 10's 5's and singles...and you only had 20 seconds.

Last night I googled and actually found some tips on grabbing cash in a money booth if you could believe it. Figured I couldn't go wrong, right?

I grabbed the most...85.00!

Renewed NRA membership yesterday at 11:45 Eastern... Seemed appropriate.
