Howdy everyone,

A little bit about me, I'm Shane "Goose" Lumpkins from Fayetteville, NC (Many of you undoubtedly shuddered or cheered at the mention of Fayetteville). I'm a 19 y/o (20 this month, in about 2 weeks) college student at UNC. I just recently got out of ROTC for lack of desire to be an officer. After college, I would like to enlist and serve in a SF Group. This isn't just my goal, it's my dream, my ambition, and I want it more than anything. ROTC sent me to jump school this past summer, and I earned my wings. I'm a public relations major and I have a general interest in the Army and military history, I do Revolutionary War re-enacting with my father. My Grandfather served for over 10 years in the SF and was in Vietnam and served as his Team SGT. If anyone has any information about Kham Duc please contact me, I have not been able to find anything about it through research, but my Grandpa has talked a little about it, but not much. Other than that, it's great to meet everyone and I'll enjoy speaking with you guys. Airborne.

There were a lot of ROTC civies when I was there last summer. Don't worry, I shoudn't judge you by my impression of them.

Welcome Airborne.

Intro'd myself under the 7th Group page. Thought I'd do so here as well. Some of you already know me. Hello TR and CRad.
For those that don't I spent my time in 7th, 1st SOCOM, SWC and JOTC.
I like guns, knives and long paddles in the moonlight. I don't like sun, sand and no see ums. I won't post often, as I usually don't have much to say. I've been out of the business for a long time, but I still enjoy keeping up with what's going on.

Introduction

Hello all. I'm in the Navy now and hope to cross over to the green side ASAP. Hope to try out for an NG unit. Thanks for all that you've done and for taking the time to put together a site as informative as this one. It is greatly appreciated. Take care of yourselves.
