Colorado Update: Global Warming Becoming a Pain!

It @#$% snowed again!

Gentlemen of Colorado and New Mexico, I propose we all meet TS and his family at the ski resort of his choosing, and force him off the Green trails.

7 inches by my place......

You know.....I don't think we're going to have to worry about a drought this summer....if it EVER comes.

Keith, you're a mean one. Forcing TS down a Green trail with all the snow that's up there......I'd at least give him a fighting chance and force him down a "Bunny" hill, unless you've got something more "sinister" in mind.......

Edit to add....

Ms. Blue.......

Pfffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttt

That is all.

I've got a rifle match myself. Thankfully it's only going to be 73; wouldn't want to break a sweat in January. That and it's nice not to have to worry about snowblindness either. Hopefully the winds won't be too bad on the back side of this rain. Peregrino

My karma is already horribly screwed since I'm consistently "wrong". I've gotten used to it .

Nice avatar. Reminds me of an ex-boyfriend .

Get ready for Round 4, Gents.

Next system is expected in here, sometime Thursday afternoon, and it's supposed to be a COLD one too. High temps, in the single digits, here along the front range.

Nerts......

What, no handouts???

I got this in an email today:

WEATHER BULLETIN

Up here, in the Northern Plains, we just recov ered from a Historic
event--- may I even say a "Weather Event" of "Biblical Proportions" ---
with a historic blizzard of up to 44" inches of snow and winds to 90
MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds
of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads , isolated scores
of communities and cut power to 10's of thousands.

FYI:

George Bush did not come.

FEMA did nothing.

No one howled for the government.

No one blamed the government.

No one even uttered an expletive on TV .

Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit.

Our Mayor did not blame Bush or anyone else.

Our Governor did not blame Bush or anyone else, either.

CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX or NBC did not visit - or report on this category 5
snowstorm.

Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.

No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House.

No one looted.

Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something.

Nobody expected the government to do anything, either.

No Larry King, No Bill O'Reilly, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No
Geraldo Rivera.

No Sean Penn, No Barbra Striesand, No Hollywood types to be found.

Nope, we just melted the snow for water.

Sent out caravans of SUV's to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars.

The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn't ask for a
penny.

Local restaurants made food and the police and fire departments
delivered it to the snowbound families.

Families took in the stranded people - total strangers.

We fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman
lanterns.

We put on extra layers of clothes because up here it is "Work or Die".

We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of
a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades
votes for 'sittin at home' checks.

Even though a Category "5" blizzard of this scale has never fallen this
early, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves.

"In my many travels, I have noticed that once one gets north of about
48 degrees North Latitude, 90% of the world's social problems evaporate."

It does seem that way, at least to me.

as the first snow flakes start flying on round 4.....your email put a big smile on my face!! Today already, our temperature dropped from 43 to 20 in about the last 3 hours. It's been snowin that real light ball shaped REALLY cold snowflakes for about an hour now.

Where's Jesse Jackson when you really need him???

Monsoon,

I will be forwarding that e-mail of yours on the many other people. It speaks volumes of how things really are.

Thanks for the laugh.
