Hey all, Name is andrew. commissioned through the Early Commissioning Program, served as an infantry officer in the National Guard for 2.5 years. When i re-accessed for active duty, I was given Ordnance. I'll be headed down to Campbell in september after Ordnance OBC. This doesn't make much of a difference to me, as my ultimate goal is to go Special Forces, and I look forward to helping out infantry units by making sure they get good service support.

Thanks! I'm trying to post about SF, the Army and things in general that interest me. If anyone has any ideas for posts, let me know.

18X program, Rep 63 program, medical waivers, pre-reqs, etc. are always popular.

Greetings

Evening all, I'm Jason age 33, I am currently in 2nd semester of a 2 year RN program. I was an EMT working the street for 7 years at an ALS service before my lumbar spine turned into train derailment.

My father and stepfather were both Army and served in Vietnam. I was unable to enlist due to asthma but have much respect for the military. Thanks to all of you who have served or are serving and for providing this forum full of info.

I frequent a number of message boards under the same username. Mostly I just wanted to let you know theres a mostly harmless lurker in the AO.

I will be over in the corner with my bedpan should anyone need me.

The world needs those that are courageous enough to help save lives as much as it needs soldiers to defend them. Thank you for your service.

Introduction

Hi everyone I just joined today and I figured I'd introduce my self.
I'm Jon as you can probably tell from my screenname. I'm 22, finishing up my junior year at a small engineering school in Worcester, MA. I was at the Coast Guard Academy for a year and a half before I realized I needed to grow up alot, before I commit to a career where I need to lead people.
I found the site from google while I was killing time in a lab. I'm planning on signing an 18x DEP contract within the next few months once I'm within a year of graduation. I've done my fair share of research and reading but if I say something stupid that offends anyone I apologize in advance. I don't really plan on posting all that much considering I won't have too much to contribute but I'll probably be lurking around during my free time. Thanks
Jon

these two statements are grossly inconsistent...you'd better be ready to lead people when you embark on a journey toward SF qualification or you will be toast...
