This isn't 1974 what the hell was I thinking.

I'm thinking right around the Operation Just Cause?
You are a patrol officer, not a detective, right?

All issue US Jungle Boots have been Panama soled for 40 years.

Some of your other stuff is good.

You guys and your guesses are killing me!!

Keep it up.

I'll take a WAG at this . . .

1. center, back row - Reaper. Reason? no sling (that I can see). Or the guy with the 203 vest, same reason.

Gotta do a little more research on the others.

That could be Jerry in the center back. I wonder if his hat says "YOUR NAME" on the back or if Reaper's does. Hmmmm.

questions

I have no idea what I am looking at ( It's sort of like looking at one of those "Where's Waldo " books for me ! lol) or what it means when I find it , AND I don't know the correct military terminology for what I am seeing so bear with me:

The flag is facing the correct way with the field of blue in the upper left corner.

Are wedding rings normally worn (don't they catch the light if in the dark) - gentleman 1st row, lower left.

They are wearing green, not beige, - so I too think of SA, or at least NOT ME

The skylight light (it that really is a skylight) seems to dark, therefore at night , but I don't see any of the nite vision goggles

OK - I have to scroll back and look somemore. BTW - I really am glad these guys are on OUR side ! lol.

Okay what is with one NCO whereing the America Flag....but its facing the wrong way to be worn on that shoulder?

He is also wearing his ruck but it doesn't look too heavy (straps are sitting high on the shoulders).
Binos, Illum or Refletive tape on his Primary Mag?

The Warrant Officer and 3 others are wearing an LBE (I think)? with a Fastex sternum strap...why? Or maybe its not an LBE...top half of a climbing/ rigging harness maybe?

What is that little black cylinder thing on the Big guys left shoulder?

TR,

Actually I'm a Court Deptuy...no Det. here...maybe someday

Roy check out the window on the far left side of the photo...it appears that light is coming in although not a bright sunny day type of light. More like sunrise/sunset, or a cloudy day.

Thumbs up

This is a thread about a photo that hangs at Camp Mackall, and still I learned something new!

Only on this site.

BTW, are we going to eventually find out who's who? My TR vote is back row, second from the left. Anyway, beers are on me for any of them.

LOL - Note to self: Commit next crime spree in Flagstaff.

The flag is more telling than you know TS. I believe that is the only one you can see because he is the only one that wore one. LOL

Flag

Smokin Joe-

The direction the flag is facing will help narrow the timeline for us. The flag was turned 'backwards' (the blue field was then put in upper right corner of flag) for a reason, after a certain point in time - I read it and now can't remember why !lol
I am also looking at the floor - I can't tell if that is a dirt floor or just a dirty floor !!LOL
I have to go to a meeting - Good luck.

Its a concrete floor. You can tell by the expansion groove under the left foot of the guy kneeling on the left.
