Hello Gentlemen,
I am the girlfriend of a soldier in the Q course. College grad. For several months I have frequently checked this site for information and amusement (QPs are brutal but fair). I feel Echoes speaks for the blonde women on the site (although where are the red head jokes??), so I will make myself scarce after this post. J’ai compris le message de NousDefions depuis mon premier jour... I enjoy Francophones, there are so few of us.

Hello,
I am here to learn and research. I am a platoon leader of an artillery unit in South Korea, my first duty station. After I PCS in December I will begin assembling my SFAS application packet. I appreciate the community here; it is a huge asset to individuals such as myself. Thank you all for setting this up and making this information available.

Bienvenue a Professional Soldiers Jolie Aime.

Hey guys,
interested in joining SF and just wanting to be here to learn more. I'm 16 now and getting into SF has been a goal of mine for a couple of years now. I've recently started training for it and can't wait till I get my shot in a couple of years.
Thanks all,
Chris

Hmmm...
You couldn't write without one.
I'm still trying to figure out the first sentence.
Language languishes absent application.
(it's been 17 years)
This resource will likely yield many knowledge nuggets for the ardent autodidact.

OK, The display of "Linguistic Prowess" should be kept to the "Personal Message" (PM) realm!!
Contrary to the PC Bullsh@#, this is an ENGLISH LANGUAGE SITE!!!!
Later.

hello
I'm a college student, graduating at the end of this year. I'm pretty much here to learn as much as I can, and to help cement the decision as to whether enlist with the Opt 40 or 18x contract.
thanks

Former C 2/10 guy, 18B/Z, 86-92. I post on a few other sites and recognize some screen names here. Col Calvert took a lot of grief from me. All in good fun of course.

New to SF community
Quiet Professionals,
I would like to introduce myself at this time. I have been reading threads for around the last 2 or 3 months. Just trying to make sure I don't put anything stupid down. I am currently a Drill Sergeant and leave in less then a month for class 07-08. I have high hopes for myself to be selected into your community. I do understand I have a long road ahead of me, and can't wait for all the obstacles that are going to be placed in front of me. Im a hightly motivated NCO, and love the Military. Any advice you might have for me in the upcoming 3 weeks, prior to my class, would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you for letting me be part of this great Web site. I have already learned so much.

Introduction
Hello, I thought it would be rude to continue reading your posts without first introducing myself. I am a 19A currently assigned to 3rd BCT, 3ID and deployed to Iraq. I'm a Troop XO in a Cavalry Squadron and have dropped what the 3rd ID calls the "Fuck you guys, I wanna be Special" packet. I thank you all for your words of wisdom and the time you've taken to create a forum that allows us aspirees to read the discussions of experienced professionals.
