I am listed in my contract as an 18E so my AIT is 25C at Ft. Gordon. From what I understand 18D's are being sent in as 91W's as well...
I do appreciate all those that were willing to send up the red flag though. Looking at my contract right now I am pretty confident everything is set up correctly. However, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if anyone wants to take a look at my orders just to be sure.

Orders are good to go.
I think because they are National Guard orders they look quite different then what we're used to seeing.

My NG 18X buddies were assigned their CMF 18 MOS before ever starting and were sent to the applicable AITs. If you're active duty then you'd be the first I've heard that got this deal.
Based on my own personal experience on Sand Hill, I don't think you're missing out on too much Infantry training Hermitman. We did battle drills maybe.. five times my entire time there. OSUT ... met the standard... but very inefficiently IMHO.
Good luck man!

Jehgunnz,
That would be the difference then... Yes, I am joining the Colorado Guard... I think that I signed on right as a lot of changes had or are in the process of taking place. I also think that 18x's get something called SFPC II which I gather goes over some of the things we would miss during an infantry AIT. I appreciate the insight bro.

So you're signed up as a Rep63, not an 18X, right?

Razor,
Assuming you are speaking to me, I am not familiar with what a Rep63 is. I have 18E listed in my actual contract, and my recruiter has only spoken of 18X with me. So if I am signed up as a Rep63 I am un-aware of it.

It is too easy. Read your Statement of Enlistment (7 page doc). It will tell you exactly what you are. At this point, if you signed the dotted line, aint no turnin back. You are what the Army says you are.

Hello everyone,
I'm active duty Military and I have been posting on the net for almost a decade. I've been on 10-8, Lightfighter, SOCnet, Tacforums, and a few others.
I came here to check things out at the suggestion of one of your MODs who is a mate of mine from another board. I'm also stalking renee!
I hope to bring something to the board and I can tell you all that I am all ready jacked up because I cannot figure out where to post the link to my avatar.....(sending up red pen-gun flare...help)
Thanks for having me aboard.
DA Chuck

No wonder I could not "unclick" that button...... I thought it was more 18 series/Ranger rivalry stuff going on.
I was thinking a Nous Defions Doc baited ambush......

Welcome Load. Good thing you let Renee come in first, I had to put the safety back in the clacker.
Welcome to both of you. Good to see you both here.

Hello All,
I'm a medic currently stationed in Alaska. I found this website while looking for more information about the SF community. My goal is to become a successful Special Forces soldier and be shoulder to shoulder with America's best. See you around.

Hey, 50% of the time my navigation works every time. And that's not always good.
