Another converison is a RPD. I have the closed bolt figure out, now I need to figure out a semi auto trigger asy.

I have done a bunch a AK conversions. I would like to have done a M60 one. I have a Bren on hold. It is a tricky one, much more so than the RPD.

Standard MG34/MG42/MG3 tripod.
Fully adjustable, heavy, and durable.
Looks like you got the periscope with yours.
Nice iron!

Thank you. It has a system to absorb recoil. The periscope has a lit reticule and a "map light/ T&E"(?) with it. Has remote firing mechanism. The Gun has a quick release lever, quick on and off. Heavy? yes. I have a attachment kit for my 1919 to use that tri-pod. They did a nice job designing it. The gun itself has a ambush bi-pod, when the gun is pulled back, the pod is hinged allowing the gun to assume a lower profile.
My Bren gun tri-pod is much more simpler.

I'd much rather have the MG42, than my latest purchase. I recently bought my first handgun. I'm still waiting on the state of Georgia to grant me limited permission to exercise my Second Amendment rights, but this will be my carry weapon when that occurs. In Georgia, we're not required to conceal, so I don't have to be as careful about printing as folks in other parts of the county... provided I mind my SA.
My knowledge of handguns is very limited, and PS.com was an invaluable source of information. I was torn between the USP Compact and the P2000, but I found an acceptable deal on a used USP Compact .40 which helped make the decision much easier for me and my wallet.
I'm going to take some basic handgun classes, and start saving my pennies in an effort to get some high-quality training. Heck, if I can get a bonus or two, I hear there's an excellent instructor out in Arizona.

You might want to review your registration message, read the Instructions and stickies, and take care of a few details before posting again.
