You forgot to add flutterkicks. My favorite question when I got back was, "How many flutterkicks did they make you do?"
My answer was always, "All of them."

I searched in the other CDQC threads but could not find an answer.

What uniform is the 50m underwater swim conducted in? UDT shorts or ACUs?

Thank you.

And with your mask full of water, on the edge of the pool and slapping the water with your fins. No fair drinking the water or you'll have to reload.

At least that was in the old days. Nowdays I'm sure there are two good looking blond ladies, each with a hand under your knees and ankles to assist with moving your legs. Relax and enjoy.

God willing, I would love the opportunity. But even then not for a long, long time.

I'm hoping to understand more about the course.

They make you do lots of things under water with very little air - and sometimes very little space - and sometimes very little light - and sometimes very little air, space and light all at once.

As long as you're OK with that - No problem.

You get your ass in the absolutely best shape possible, swim till you can't swim any more, swim underwater till your lungs feel like they are going to explode, then swim some more. Get used to being out of air and keeping going. You set your mind to completing the course, no matter how many times you have to be revived, and you complete your Last Will and Testament.

That is everything you need to do to prepare. The instructors will teach you the rest, and see how good you are at exceeding the standards.

I don't think you need any more details than that. Odds are, you will never get there, and the advice will be about as useful as how to climb Everest.

Now stop asking irrelevant questions and get to work.

Thank you.

I did not get a chance to go back to Pre-Dive. I recently graduated the Q and am looking to hopefully go to CDQC in the future..
