Brian, Brian, Brian... And so your vetting process continues. Sorry I never told you about this forum. I figured if you were serious about SF you would find your way in here. I pondered giving you the "situational awareness" speech before your first post, but I think you learned the lesson better yourself. It’s a little different than Myspace huh?

“Read & heed” and you’ll be fine… Welcome!

Hi everybody
I've been lurkin for a few weeks, and felt it was time to step into the light.
I'm not military, but am an Army BRAT, I was born at FT. Campbell in march of
1968. My father-who I have not seen since I was 4 yr's old- was a Drill sargent
back then. For as long as I can remember I've loved everthing, SPECIAL FORCES.
I just admire you guy's for the Excellent jobs you do day in dayout. Don't get me wrong I like the regular Army but , their just not SF.

Good afternoon,

My name is Louis and I am a wannabe. I am seriously considering enlisting in the Army after college with an option 40. I am here to read and learn as much as possible. I have already learned a great deal using the search button on this site as well as socnetcentral.com and armyranger.com, and will continue to use it ad nauseum.

Thank you for your service.

Introduction

I just wanted to start out that this site is amazing. It's exactly what I have been needing lately. My name is John. I graduated from UGA in August 06 with a criminal justice major and I am considering enlisting with an 18x option. These forums have helped me a lot in the past few weeks and have given me much knowledge that I do not think I could have found anywhere else. I will be making some posts in the future, asking for advice and guidance after I do a little more searching on here. Thanks again guys for taking time to talk to and help guys like me.

Hi everyone, been reading your forums alot for the last several months. I've been in the regular Army for ten years, been deployed to bosnia, kuwait, and in 03 to Iraq. I was Screaming Eagle Infantry squad leader for OIF 1, currently holed up as a Drill Sergeant at Ft Benning. Just completed Selection in May and should be on my way to the Q-course soon. Your site contains a plethra of valuable info. I'll probably not post much as I prefer listening and learning from guys with more experience than myself, to talking alot. thanks for all the wisdom

I guess you think your special and required your own intro thread. I'm merging your special thread you started with all other current introductions instead of taking other actions, only because it's Independence Day and we're about to head out to a parade.

I do not think that you need your own thread to introduce yourself. You should have follwed the link you were provided or the thread stickied at the top here entitled "Attention...BEFORE POSTING HERE!!" and introduced yourself in the same thread as everyone else.

Welcome all.
