My name is Joshua. I was doing research on SF and came across the site. I will not post as I don't believe I have any new information. I simply wanted to read what is written and will not ask for more.Thank you for allowing me to read and study. Most of all Thank You for being the best of what America has to offer. Forgiven

Precisely why they changed the standards for 18x. In case you haven't noticed, there's a war going on. Nobody has the time or extra energy required to ride herd on immature punks. When you grow up and get a few clues about life you can try again. BTW - If you really do have an 18x contract, you might want to check the attitude until you've done something to earn the right to share it. Have a very SF day. Peregrino

Introductions

Good Evening everyone, my name is PFC Robert Bruce Coe. As my first post I will make it short. I am an American Soldier, I have in no way earned the title of 18D as of yet, I have not even completed the 91W course, but am set and determined for my date at May 16th, 2006. I will become what only the most professional become, an American Special Forces Soldier.

Welcome aboard Joshua and Robert Bruce.

Welcome RDD-
Go to your profile and re-think your responses to some of your information. Read all the stickies, use the search button lots, and don't quit. You have a long road ahead of you. There is a great deal of information here that can prove to be to your benefit.

Welcome all who have used a modicum of SA.

Rambo, one point, you are not an 18D. You are not assigned as an 18D. Your occupation is not 18D. Please do not call yourself that till you walk across the stage and someone tells you, "Congratulations, you made it, welcome to the Regiment".

Hey, if you are not a former Marine, why do you call yourself Devil Dog?

I am the spawn of two marines, my father when I was born wanted to name me Rambo DevilDog Coe, but my mother got to the paperwork first. she named me Robert Bruce Coe. ever since then I guess the nickname stuck...

BTW: I have double and triple checked my profile, there is nothing that even mentions "18D" as far as I am concerned I am a 91W in training untill I get the title 18D. the only question I have is my Unit...I drill with the 5/19th SFGA, may I put that down or leave the spot empty?

Good story. OTOH, he could have named you David Alan.

I threatened to name our kids by filling out the papers while the wife was asleep, but thought that she might be a while getting over it.

You deleted the second 18D mention after I posted my last comment.

You can use the unit designation of you are drilling with them or have orders assigning you to them.

Welcome aboard.

M.

You need to do better on your profile, including where and when you served.

We are not looking for people to "bring it on", but feel free to contribute where you have knowledge. Do not initiate arguments unnecessarily, especially till we get to know one another better.
