John, don't worry, I'll protect you from that meanie Team Sergeant!
The basis of that snipe was simply that Men are challenged by understanding the varying conundrums that we Femme types present.
You see, as part of the 18- XX qualification, I had to become familiar with the importance of logarithmic curves vs circular curves, Fibonacci numbers and their implementation as part of the defining ratio of strength and beauty in placement of adjacent parts, UtBs and new and better ways to terrify unsuspecting XYs, all this new terminology and rules and ways to snipe in retaliation, etc.
There will be a test!

Kinda like the wolf guarding the sheep? We'll have to work on her 18-XXX qualification next.

Hello
Hello. My name is Scott. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Kansas. As soon as I'm done with school I plan on joining the Army with an 18x contract. I've wanted to serve all my life, I was just too young and unsure what I wanted to do so I did what everyone does around here and went to school. I don't regret it, but am just looking forward to getting out and joining. It gives me a good reason to get good grades. Anyways thanks already for all the great advice thats here, and I'll let you know when I enlist.
Scott

Introduction
I have been viewing this forum for quite some time and finally decided to register. My name is Jordan and I am a college senior four months away from being commissioned as an Infantry LT. I enlisted in 2001 in the NG as an 11b, then switched MOS to 27D. I also recently completed Airborne school, class 08-05, last jump 11 December 2004. I am looking forward to IOBC following graduation in May, and hopefully Ranger school right after IOBC.
I would have to say that viewing the topics being discussed on this forum has been very helpful to me learning about the Special Forces. You get to see a lot of different views and attitudes of people on this forum.

Intro
Just registered on the site, figured I'd better introduce myself. I'm looking into getting an 18X contract so I'm here to gather some info from the professionals who have BTDT. Great site, excellent source of info. Thanks to all responsible for creating and maintaining this resource. God bless all Defenders of our Freedom.

Thought I would introduce myself
Prior service Navy here, re-enlisting with the Army National Guard. Prior to a few weeks ago I had not even considered the thought of SF. After some long soul searching and reading I have decided that it is now and always will be my goal to pursue the beret.
I look forward to reading and learning all that I can from you gentlemen and look forward to the discussions.
