Kgoerz,
You won't notice it (being the shooter and all) but NDD might if you guys are shooting shoulder to shoulder.
Just my .02 cents
Anyone have any experience with the Noveske muzzle brakes?
Likes/ dislikes?

That Noveske isn't a muzzle brake, it is a flash suppressor.

I have heard of some folks having issues with the noveske "Krinkov Flash Hiders" on standard length (16" or longer) barrels. They are intended to run on short barrels and in that application they are supposed to work very well.
Good times,

It does a nice job of focusing the blast and concussion forward into a narrower cone, though, which is what I bought it for. JAGeorgia sat to my immediate right yesterday with the spotting scope and reported that he was more bothered by the guy shooting a 26" 7mm WSM about 20 feet from us.

I will say this much for them. On about anything that is supersonic, they absolutely work in keeping down recoil and muzzle flip.
Probably not the best idea for tactical situations.

New POF Build
I just finished putting this one together and am pretty happy with it.
POF P-416-14-P4X-SF-223 upper
POF P-416 Gen. II lower
RRA National Match lower parts kit
Daniel Defense offset sling attachment point
Eotech 553
Streamlight TLR-2
Troy front & rear BUIS
TD vertical foregrip
Magpul MIAD grip & CTR stock
First impressions:
Fit, finish and functioning are perfect, and POF's growing reputation is well deserved. I can find no fault with the upper or lower. Cleaning is a breeze with the "nickel silicon" coating in the upper - I literally wipe the grease and carbon off with a soft rag and that 's it.
The Predator rail system, as has been noted elsewhere, does place your optics and BUIS very high, probably about 3/4" higher than a typical rail. This feels very natural when using the Eotech, but makes it difficult to get a good cheek weld when using iron sights. It's a trade-off that I'm comfortable with, though, since it permits such a great "heads up" stance with the Eotech.
The DD sling attachment point is a cool piece of kit, and the offset design keeps the rifle hanging in a more vertical position when not in use. This is especially noticable when doing transition drills, for example. I continue to be a big fan of Streamlight's TLR-2 as an alternative to bulkier scout lights, given its 80+ lumen output, light weight and overall sturdiness - and I'm especially happy now that remote tape switches have been made available for them. Next, the Magpul CTR stock works great for a lightweight carbine such as this one. The cheek weld isn't quite as comfortable as the LMT SOPMOD on my .308, but it locks up just as tight and is half the price.
Finally, one note about the Eotech 553 - it sits high enough on the integrated mount that BUIS are a bit difficult to use. I.e., the front sight post is clearly visible in the lower 25% of the window, but the rear aperture is partially obscured in this setup, making proper sight alignment a bit of a challenge.
Edited to add: The upper came with POF's HK-style hooded sight mounted up front, which I tore off after about three seconds. IMHO, the hood was very distracting when cowitnessing with optics and made zero difference when looking through the rear peep sight. I am going to see if they have any of their old A2-style front sights still available.

I am but a novice plinker not experienced with firearms and shooting. Besides, I sold or traded my other pistols in an attempt to combat a virulent flare-up of black rifle disease. I will not be thinking about buying another pistol until the HK45 and M&P .45 come out.
Here's another pic as atonement.

HA! That's exactly what I thought when I saw that pic. I'm spending too much time here, I've been assimilated.

LMT builds a fine rifle, don't they? Lots of accessories I like there as well.
Resistance is futile, mugwump.

Yes Sir, they do. When I get around to putting in my SBR paperwork, I will be looking at their uppers.
Thanks to your generosity in sharing your thoughts and experience, I've been able to select high quality accessories for my rifle.
