We should also have government grants for research into Smart Knives technology!

Scooter, haven't they tried this in the U.K.? If my memory is correct didn't the number of violent crimes involving legally owned knives skyrocket? Also IIRC the sale and distribution of NFA (Nives For Attacking) (aka banned assault knives) created a vast black market on street corners and dark alleys where the police armed only with small clubs didn't go.

And automobiles...those things kill thousands of Americans every year, we must get common sense automobile control. No one except the police and military need automatic transmissions.

To listen to these college kids whine and moan about how in shock they are that something like this could happen at their school......
Has not this been happening around our country for several years now? Maybe they've missed all the other terror attacks (yeah, I said it) in the country because they've been hanging out in their "safe" spaces.
Wake Up America!

I'm sure someone must have shouted "STOP" at least once. Or at least once before someone screamed "you're invading my space and triggering an emotional response I won't be able to comprehend for several days and may perhaps be scared for life!"

As tragic as this is, especially to those of us here that understand the problem, I can't really feel bad about this. These college students at OSU and about every other college and university have created this mess.
I wouldn't doubt it for one second that at least 1 of the victims has a "coexist" bumper sticker on their car and a belief that they have muslim "friends" at the school.
Prior to this incident they probably all crapped their pants in a safe zone when some former soldier come student suggested that students be able to carry arms at school. (The Security guard proved 2 things, 1 a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with anything, and 2 when seconds count, Security is only minutes away).
My thought was how many conservatives were born yesterday with the realization that everything they thought was true was actually a lie... probably not many as the stupidity of liberalism runs deep. Sheep will run a way from a wolf that has slaughtered another sheep and then group up eat more grass until the wolf gets hungry again. (I also wondered if any of the students tried to tackle the POS... I doubt it)

Heavens no!!
Thou shalt not use thine near/far recognition "Symbol of Sanctuary" against the very same downtrodden souls whom you wear the pin for. That would cause all kinds of confusion and make the poor undocumented wretch mistake said warriors for social justice for us deplorable! Think of the tragedy that would ensue. Great moons of Neptune, man! Have you no conscience?

You know, as I look at commonly posted photos of this balding "18 year old" I suspect that he may have even concealed his real age from authorities when he entered the United States.
Our vetting process and entire immigration policy needs a a fresh look with the view of protecting America and Americans, first.

They brought in a law to limit blade length to legally carry in public, doesn't really work seeing that you can still buy survival knives and concealing them is simple. It's a different culture in the uk, it'll never change. We have a large group of Somalis in the uk, most in gutter areas of London and Birmingham. A friend has to police the Birmingham area, armed and quick to taser

As long as they registered those safety pins and sat through the "Proper Use Of Safety Pins" course, then they could feel free to use them as long as it didn't upset anyone else in the immediate area.

They made it a point on the local news here in Northeastern Ohio to point out that Columbus has the second largest Somalian community in the country; Right behind the Twin Cities. Columbus is also a sanctuary city with approximately 30,000 Somalians. He put it out on social media that he was tired of muslims being hated and killed everywhere. He was also afraid to do his prayers out in public. Somebody got to this mental midget and turned him. My guess would be someone at the mosque or in his family.
