That's one...
Well, that was a barn-burner for a bit there; then the wife yelled at the TV & apparently it was heard down in Wrigleyville. "Never quit" has been the difference this year.
Congrats btw to the Cleveland Indians; have a couple friends in that area & they feel they've suffered their own drought as well.
Now if someone at FS1 could turn Joe Buck's mic off 40% of the time life would be great. Damn that guy runs his mouth alot.

Cubbies... Interesting pitching matchup coming for game 4. Already pundits talking that Chicago has never come back from a 2-1 deficit.....

Yeah, heard that during the (still going) game tonight. Congrats to them for thrashing the Blue Jays.
Edit to add: Long one; Cubs' bats finally came back to life tonight. Looked like the team that got them there. Nicely done guys.

And... it's back to Wrigley for Game 6 in the NL. Cubs up 3-2. Will be tough; we're gonna see Kershaw again. But hopefully they can grind it out.

Great game to watch last night. Cubbies were definitely grinding it out. L.A. seemed totally lost starting in the 8th when it opened up.

Am hoping they will get back to that against Kershaw; good as he is, he's not some Olympic god. These guys know what a strike looks like; they have to swing at it instead of standing there 'cause we know how that works out. Should be an interesting matchup.
