This is just CDC relocated and a bunch of horsehockey. Any report's conclusions are already decided and any dissenting opinion will be censured. I'm sure we'll see thoughtful & measured work coming from a system run by the monster that brought us Fast & Furious and a report labelling a bunch of Americans (likely a big chunk of members here) as domestic terrorists.

Attempts to legislate human behavior are rife with examples of failure. For a real experiment perhaps someone should just wall off an area of one of the most violent cities in the world for a year, someplace that already has draconian gun possession laws, and study THAT. Lots of candidates.

I guess the federal bribes haven't been available, poor CDC. All that bak-sheesh going to the various clerical monoliths around the country to pay for rapefugee resettlement.

The bad part is UC Davis now has some revenue to indoctrinate and spread the Anti-Gun Gospel to the sheeple through grants, which is exactly what they plan to do.
