TSA agents union pushes for creation of supplemental force

TSA agents union pushes for creation of supplemental force

http://www.cw7michigan.com/shared/ne...rce-5700.shtml

"WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The TSA agents union says a new supplemental TSA force with greater authority needs to be created.

This 'new class' of TSA officers would work among regular TSA employees, but would be armed and able to make arrests........."

Now, do any of us regular people really think this is a good idea?

Arming TSA officers hits resistance on the Hill

Arming TSA officers hits resistance on the Hill

"Friday’s slaying of a Transportation Security Administration officer at Los Angeles International Airport is fueling calls from union leaders to give some of the agency’s employees guns, handcuffs and the power to make arrests.

But that would be a tough sell for many conservatives in Congress, where some lawmakers until recently were trying to take away TSA agents’ badges......."

TSA screening data bases before you arrive

Combine everything else with the TSA screening data bases long before you arrive at the airport, this is so over the top! They have the power to make judgements about someone because of a driving, financial, or other personal record mined from data bases.., and who are they again, their credentials, training, etc...? Seems to me someone has lost perspective big time.

My question is why does TSA need arrest power? Since 9-11, every airport I have been to is crawling with cops. Just a new power grab by Dear Leader and his lap dogs.

They just need another common-core curriculum program fostering literacy in bad guys so that they read the signs in safe places like airports, schools, malls, hospitals & places of worship.

Chris Muir is getting it right.

DISASTER AVERTED: TSA agent bravely confiscates sockmonkey’s gun

http://bearingarms.com/disaster-aver...ckmonkeys-gun/

Quote:
May said the TSA agent went through the bag, through the sewing supplies and found the two-inch long pistol.

“She said ‘this is a gun,’” said May. “I said no, it’s not a gun it’s a prop for my monkey.”

“She said ‘If I held it up to your neck, you wouldn’t know if it was real or not,’ and I said ‘really?’” said May.

The TSA agent told May she would have to confiscate the tiny gun and was supposed to call the police.

“I said well go ahead,” said May. “And I said really? You’re kidding me right, and she said no it looks like a gun.”

“She took my monkey’s gun,” said May, who has retained her sense of humor.

TSA is almost as brave, conscientious, through, factual..oh wait they make their own facts to support their own story, and efficient as the ATF.

It would be hysterical if it weren't for the fact that these "Sock Monkeys" (TSA) are trying to get more broad and sweeping power....

This is a representative example of what DHS has to offer Amerika. Stay tuned Komrad

What makes you think they are qualified for those jobs?

They are not, that's why they are working for the TSA.
