We need to coin a new phrase. Anyone suspected of posing or caught posing should be referred to as "Pulling a Wolfie".

El Presidente

Its funny, but I just figured out how Hammerscum came up with the whole "Tactical El Presidente" shooting exercise. He got it from Warrior Soul: Memoir of a Navy SEAL. In the book the author talks about:

Quote:
In an exercise called an El Presidente, we would stand, hands raised, pistols holstered, with out backs turned to to the three man-shaped silhouettes. On Command, we would about-face, draw, fire two rounds into each target, reload, and fire two more rounds into the trio.
p. 262

Still dont know where he got the idea for the "President's Army". Such Bullshit.

Then you obviously don't read W.E.B. Griffin.

El Presidente was also a drill we did long ago with seven targets in which you raced a buddy to the middle target. One shot left to right and the other right to left towards the middle. First one to the middle gong won.

Hmmm...old memories of SOT out at Mott Lake are starting to come to mind.

From The Code, Forward by W.E.B. Griffin....

My novels are all based on real people and actual conditions. I served in the military and had the great good fortune to get to know some truly distinguished officers, NCOs, and spooks. It’s my pleasure to tell their stories because these are people who served Duty, Honor, Country with courage, integrity, and sacrifice. They lived by an honorable code.

Wolfie has no honor, he lives by no code.

Old age sucks. I got your point exactly the way you intended it, we're tracking....

Wolfie has never been in the same room with the likes of TR, AM, Team Sergeant, Rowe or Howard.

W.E.B. - said it best, "Served with men of HONOR".

I'll second that, and there are a lot of other names that would belong on that list..........

From Woflies Website:

Wolfgang,

I recently purchased your book after reading an article about your book and yesterday it was delivered.

Upon opening the envelope it was sealed in, I noticed something strange about the cover. I thought that my book was somehow damaged during handling.

I inspected the damage closer and knew it had to be a bullet hole! (Maybe a 9mm or .40? My girlfriend was not nearly as excited about this as I was). Flipping to the inside first page, I noticed that the bullet had grazed the edge of the page, as if the book was hung by a clip on the front cover and then shot at on a range. I also saw that you had signed the book yourself.

The whole reason I am writing you is because you may never meet me, but I have an incredible respect for you have done and for the person it has made you. In the few chapters I’ve been able to read from yesterday to today, I already know I like you. On top of that, my book is signed by you and has a bullet hole through it. That is hands down the coolest promotional thing that I will ever see done to a book, or maybe even anything that I ever buy.

That simple hole really added a profound message to my purchase; that someone had taken the time to set it up to be able to be shot. I will never forget that.

Thank you for your service and for sharing your knowledge with those who care to take the time to know it.

Have a great Christmas,
Adrien

Yeah, I read that too. I had to laugh, figured he wrote it himself or the buyer is incredibly sheltered...."it's the coolest promotional thing I will ever see..."
