This death still upsets me. I watched his body be put on a C-130 after he died in the shower. His family deserves justice from the carelessness of contractors. This man endured the training of an SF weapons sergeant and was to be a great soldier and NCO. It seems unfair that a 24-year-old man died because of an oversight by KBR.

I met the guy a couple of times prior to that deployment to Iraq and he was a really easy going and cool guy.

Rest in Peace, SSG Ryan Maseth. My prayers are always with your family. I've been reading articles about you constantly and hope some form of justice is served.

Maseth

I went through the SFQC with Ryan. What a tragic and senseless way to go. Descansa en paz.

It definitely has to hurt for you the way that KBR isn't accepting responsibility. Besides CPT Ben Tiffner, he was the only other loss that we had, and one we shouldn't have lost

After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.
