Now my wife wants a LMT setup. Have I taught her too well?

Keep it in her trunk, home defense or in the vehicle cabin when travelling out-of-town. She shoots better with a carbine than her .45 and she believes it would have a greater intimidation factor than a psitol.
Considering a short one (10.5") for me since the place where I teach CHL courses is listed on LMT's website.
At our late age, we can finally afford such things.

My HK SL8, holds regular AR15 magazines, Knights forearm, folding stock, short rail (latest addition is a scope 3-12x50, illuminated MILDOT). Has a vertical foregrip now, rails have flashlight and laser, bipod is from TDI, muzzlebreak/flashhider.

I carry a CZ75 9mm off duty, have a Mod. 94 .30-.30 Win, a 12/76 pumpgun, a Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55, a .357Mag S&W Highwaypatrol Revolver and a good old 1911 in .45ACP. No pics of that stuff, since it´s nothing special.

Just received my package from La Rue, very fast service. I ordered a drum magazine for shorty. They also enclude a very nice Hat and the armadillo.

Mark LaRue runs his company like I wish everyone did.
His products are outstanding and his service first rate. The only negative is that he can't make it fast enough to keep up.
+10 for LaRue.

Thanks Mike, I lost track of Smith in the late 70s'. I use to own a bunch it was my favorite wheel gun. I had a M 28 in 357, (I believe it was a 28 called the highway patrolman..but memory may be off). I had a M 29 in 44 Mag. I think at that time the 44 Mag was only in the M29. I liked the "N" frames. Stainless I don't believe was available back then. I bought a M 39,Smith's first auto, I never liked the trigger on it. I have noticed that for concealed carry small wheel guns are comming back.

Affirmative, the M28 is called the Highway Patrolman. My M27-2 came from a retired Texas DPS Trooper in San Antonio.
I really do like the N-frames too, perferably in .357Mag (ammo is more affordable over here).
I never liked the S&W Autos. I´d go for a Colt. Glocks are really popular over here for concealed carry. They are made in Austria, which is only 60 miles away from here. We carry mainly Heckler & Koch as duty guns (the State of Bavaria still has the P7-PSP, or M8, while others have switched to the P2000 already).

HOLLiS,
Nice AR 180/18. What make is it? Howa, Costa Mesa, or Sterling?
I have to guess on the bolt gun. It looks like it possibly belongs to the Japanese Arisaka family. Maybe a modified type 30?
I've never been much on bolt guns, especially pre-Vietnam.

The AR 180 is a oldie, made in Costa Mesa, it has 7 mags and folding stock. Less than 400 rds fired.
The bolt gun is European military Target model. 1920 model.
