Excellent!

Let me know if there is anything you want to see/shoot. I have access to a few toys myself.

Nice Pig. There is more than one Bennett son?!?! Scary!

Good lookin' son. He needs a new hat.

How's the POF running? I just got 3,000 rounds through mine without a hiccup. I loaned it to a young ex-Ranger, now newly-minted SRT ("we don't say SWAT") I met at the range. His rifle was acting up and he had a 3-gun match coming up. He said it ran like a champ.

Hmm, I expected an introductory post from him by now.

This was the first time that I was able to run it a lot. It ran great!!! Notice in the pics that there is Brass-in-mid-flight!! It fires a little slower, in group therapy mode, than the normal upper, but I find it much easier to do double/triple-taps and hold it on target!!!

The hat.....my parents took him to Gander Mountain a few weeks back and a counterperson offered him a brand new hat of theirs for his ratty Bass-Pro Shop hat!! He declined!! His comment: "Hell their's didn't have any character!!"

It's been, what, three months since you brought home the DSA Para? What's your system, and are you thinking of hosting seminars to pass on the knowledge?

Thanks for the pictures, very nice tools, My shorty is a 7 1/2 barrel. Then I have a 16 incher. I was laughing at the bayonet lug on the shorty and a friend said, "there are flash lights that will mount on them."

I am not sure if I like the flat tops, I am use to holding the rifle lower and I like to keep my head up. I thought of building one for my daughter for deer season, biggest reason she has a short reach. I like the halo sight is seems at the right high for me. I like keeping my head up.

TR, I don't know if I am ready for the forward grip. I have asked a few friends with mixed reviews. What is the advantage of one?

Sometimes I feel like the old guy that showed up to join the Union forces at Gettysburg with a flintlock loaded with buck and ball.

Okay, I had to take it out of the safe and clean it so I thought I would snap a few pictures. It is one of my hunting rifles. A stainless/fluted Remington Sendero chambered in 7 mag. It is topped with a 4.5-14x50 Zeiss Conquest.

Most recent additions to the family

Here are the latest additions to the family.

1. TBA upper in 300WM mounted to an Accuracy International Chassis System.
2. DPMS 308 with MagPul stock
3. RR lower with Bushy upper (don't ask, it's my 10 year old's choice)
4. SIG 226 and 220

And, as soon as I figure out the "server reset" error message, I'll add pictures......

nice gun...bolt is on the wrong side, though...

and Sendero seems to be an odd name for a rifle...i guess it's meant to be a trail gun...?

Thanks STR8SHTR. Shoots as well or better than any bolt gun I've had at the cost of an AR-15.
BTW, always regretted selling my Sendero....

Dr. Mabuse:

Since you are a local guy, I suppose you picked your AI up in person at Tac Pro?

Good looking weapons all.
