So is this a cultural thing, and environmental thing(recycling), or perhaps you are dyslexic and thought this was a site for quiet pickers and not quiet professionals, or perhaps this is your subtle way of making sure you are not invited to attend any social gatherings where finger food is being served. Interesting introduction, welcome aboard-I think.

Hello to all
What a great site. I have been reading posts here for a few months, but realized today I never introduced myself in the open forum.
I am currently serving in SWTG. I started out in 10th SFG(A), and spent the last few years in Hawaii at SOCPAC.
There must be 10,000 years of combined SF experience represented here. It is really great to find such a great forum for professional discussion. I look forward to being a part of it all.

Yeah, and that's just Longrange, Ambush Master and Colonel Sir.

I've got the last post in this thread, so I'm guess I'm new newest of the newbs. I've been around the Army for awhile now, been on AD, a couple or 3 in the Reserves, and the last 2 in the NG. I've been lurking about the last couple of days, and can see this place is a wealth of info, if not only for the SF related topics, but for general fieldcraft and whatnot. I might not be SF, but I can use alot of the stuff I read here. Hit the search button and ye shall be rewarded! I promise I'll be doing alot of that. See yall around.

Hmmmm, this might be looked at as an "Extreme Sport" that most wouldn't take part in!

Introduction
Good evening all,
Thank you for letting me join this forum. I found the site while searching for a friends article on the warrior mindset. "The Ultimate Weapon: Harnessing the Combat Multiplier of a Warrior Mindset."
I am currently a Civil Support Team Commander involved in WMD Response in CONUS. I spent the first part of my career beating the air into submission as an AH-1F pilot, UH-1 IP and MTP. Now have moved on to the WMD area.
My soldiers are the best and I train them to win. We have training in all areas of CBRNE response and military support to 1st responders in CONUS.
I hope to pick up anything I can from the group; a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. In our fields the more knowledge we have and share the more dangerous we are to our enemy.
Many challenges face us all in the future; it is not a question of “if” but “when”. Keep pressing the fight to as you do so well. God speed. I’ll continue train my soldiers hard, we will be ready to respond at home when the need arises. “PRESS ON”

Hi everyone,
I'm currently a sophomore in college and lately as of this year, I've begun to lose interest in college. While I enjoy college I feel like I'm not getting a sense of adventure and personal challenge anymore. I'm an Air Force Brat by birth. My mother is a MSG(ret). I've spent 14 years of my life on military bases. So I've gotten some military discipline etched into me. My mom was a Drill Instructor, didn't fancy pissing her off too much and the times that I decided to test those waters, Ha, well lets just say that god damn thick parade belt hurt.
Anyways I'm here to get a bit of info on SF.
Thanks for your time,
~John

Very proud 18x Mom
Good morning Gentlemen!
I am a very proud mom of an 18X candidate who has completed all phases of his training (old pipeline). My son is at SERE as we speak, and it appears that we will be at Ft Bragg for graduation in mid-March if all goes well at SERE. I am especially proud in the fact that my son will probably be one of the youngest graduates in that he is only 20.
