The United States of America is a Business.
Re-read the Declaration of Independence (that part at the bottom about all the shit the Property and Business Owners were pissed off at the king about).
Look at the causes for the Civil War and how the threat of taking the plantation Owner’s primary means of making money lead to the largest shooting match we’ve ever had.
Look at the causes for any of the wars we have fought, policies implemented, or regulations passed.
ALL of them are to help the Business Owners.
When some 3rd rate “wannabe rich” Hotel Owner was picked by the guys who work at the Owner’s businesses and started doing shit that the Owners didn’t approve of, they put in a puppet who would do as he was told.
Cheap labor from Mexico is gonna end huh? Nah, you’re gone!
Regulate certain businesses and hurt profits? Nah, you’re gone!
Shut down the economy over the FUCKING FLU????? YOU ARE FUCKING OUTA HERE!!
It’s not all doom and gloom though here in the United States of America.
Our poor people are obese. Our sick people live longer than the rest of the world’s healthy. We have so much clean water we literally shit in it.
The Business Owners who buy and sell the politicians have created an environment where the average asshole worries more about finding his favorite flavor of twinkie and when his favorite sports-ball team is playing on his big screen tv….. (good thing he can ask his pocket super computer from the twinki aisle of the corner Walmart….) than anything ANY of the Clowns in that 3-ring-circus that is our “government” or the squirrels in the “five-sided squirrel cage on the Potomac” are doing.
GOOD!
It ain’t perfect, but the system we have is better than anything in the ~6,000 year history of humans on the planet…….
So who really gives a shit who is in the spotlight taking bribes and swindling the populace’s tax dollars in front of them? The real powers are bribing all of them (and the people in general) under the illusion of “democracy” or what ever……..

Skakel was finally convicted in 2002 & spent 11 years of a 20 to Life sentence. A "Judge" overturned his conviction & Skakel was freed on 1.2 million dollar bail in 2013....Skakel claimed his trial lawyer failed to adequately represent him....MONEY goes a long way in getting a MURDER conviction overturned.....Than there is Ted Kennedy....

Interesting that the corrupt Biden has denied RFK a SS PSD. imoo, in regard to this thread: every comment has merit and is bias with good reason. That said, if RFK is on the democratic primary ballot it would behove one and all to vote for him.
In the general election the only choice is President Trump.

BUbba, thank you for refocusing my attention to things that matter, although the Yankees are a source of some contention with a mellow evening, losing as they are on a regular basis, your pointed observation on the structure of our republic, reorganized my assessment process, with regard to the construct of our nation as a business entity. Viewed from that perspective, it's a simple P&L statement every 2/4 years.
And so much easier to digest.
