Oh, yeah. Men, this is the way. Just 'cause. Make sure to run the vid to the start if needed. Because, idling, cams, and stuff.

B52, you are so right about the transfer of basic knowledge, imo, a trade Master Certificate will be as valuable as a MA/or Phd in everything, but the STEM systems.
We purchased our building are are in the process of a complete renovation, we are GC'ing the project ourselves. Average trade hr/rate $110. and thats a deal in our AO.
But, that is and is not what this post is about. Early this week a one of a kind hit Bring a Trailer. For sport, on day (1) one, we called the final sale price, betting each other dinner, plus $1. we posted it in the thread for the car being sold.

1986 F-250 Restoration Project
A few months ago at auction -AllSurplus- we won a Ford 1986 F-250. The family owned the truck from day 1, the owner did all the R/M himself, changing the oil and greasing the hubs, filters, every 3k miles. His record keeping is hand written and follows the R/M 1986-2020 when he passed with 75K miles. His business was paving and only used the truck from May-October, garage keep, undercoat at delivery, rust on upper wheel wells, but clean with straight body lines, no accidents.
More Pictures coming soon.

The shop doing the body work are clients, barter and cash under 3.5k may be the best deal we have ever done with four wheel.
When the body work is completed we are going to pull the engine and which is a 351 Windsor 5.8L and rebuild to 425HP. Eddie in Sayerville NJ
Should be a looker when finished.
Edit to add: That Jaguar that we flipped (Thank God) was a total pain point, limited niche market, was HAPPY to see the temperamental Bit*H go.

Looking nice. Are you keeping the military trailer hitch?

The hitch will stay, but the truck will head to www.BringaTrailer.com after a trip to the beach or two. I get a kick out of restoring a classic, which imo the square 1980's pickups are, unlike todays trucks, those were straight up working man trucks, very few comfort items were available. eg., there was a Dodge Ram 2013 at AJ Wilner, local auction with 236K on it, a few dents, that went for $3700. a buy IMO, but beyond fucgly, in fact downright zero style, substituting bulk and plush for design and granda pinga Image/ YMMV

I still miss my '82 Ford pickup. Man, you could just crawl up into the hood and work on stuff. And that 300 inline 6 was a known bombproof piece of gear. They're probably going for a pretty penny nowadays if you can find an unsalted one.
Anyway, good luck - lookin' good goin' forward.

73 Vette I bought it in 1982 but had relatively little time to work on it, or use it until now.
All original - medium blue paint / 350 L82 engine - all numbers match.

Beautiful
Have always liked the older Corvettes but I'm too tall for them.

Casey, great looking Shark
and
PBR
A Porsche AND the new Model Corvette, I would-be arguing all day with myself for which one to drive, trading off every other. day would seem like infidelity.

I rebuilt the Porsche in my garage from the ground up (motor done by a pro tho) but every other wear part I replaced...the whole suspension, brakes, all of teh rubber bushings/torsion bars...a great deal of electrical bits etc.... rides like new but firmer as it now weighs in at 2300 lbs rather than the stock 2700.. I did the body work too, but had it professionally painted.
That vette is a lot of car for the money....
