And there's the use of "quiet professional" yet again. Never saw that as an attribute sought by the SEALs.

I'm guessing this young SEAL Lt. never heard of Jesse Ventura or a whole list of other SEALS that have done well. I'm not going to read this Jr. SEAL officers "paper" but I'm guessing he's missing a big point, SEALS, Rangers, Special Forces folks are driven and possess a mindset that will always set them apart.
And because they use this to get ahead they are self serving and narcissistic, maybe some, but not all. I'm sure his paper mentions all the SEAL officers that have cashed in writing books......

Remember, it ain't bragging if you can do it, or have done it.
