I remember him as the SFS and SATMO Cdr and his retirement over the Wilder fiasco.

Too bad the SFS flash is no longer being used - it looked much better than the JFKCMA flash IMO.

My Q course graduation diploma bears his signature. I will cherish it now even more. Only got to see him a couple of times, but he was one hell of a man. RIP COL Mize and thank for all you did, may you bask in the light of God's love.

4. Full police escort and support.

5. Suggest that we send cards of praise and regrets to Betty Mize, 211 Hartwood Dr., Gadsden, AL 35901. After things settle down Betty will be able to read them and share in our memories of her husband.

The 5th SFG will be presenting honors and GEN Stringham will make the flag presentation.
