I find it odd of all these labels we put folks into.

For example. My son-in-laws father is Chilean, and his mom Cuban.

Because his dads Chilean, they (S-I-L and his dad) are classified/labeled as "white"

Even though they are darker than some light skinned africans...

Go figure....labels are just to push agendas.....can't we all be just "human"

I played and coached rugby for many years. One of my best friends and former players is an IT guy for a major medical conglomerate in the area and is from South Africa. I had the pleasure of going to see him become an American citizen a few years ago. He just loves to check the block labeled "African American" whenever he fills out a government form. They always look at him and say, "You aren't black." His reply is always, "Well the form wanted to know if I was "African American".
