Florida law provides

Meaning you can go to a restaurant that has a bar as long as you don't go in the bar area.

Interestingly enough you can even drink while carrying, though not recommended.

Here it's any establishment with a liquor license that derives more than 50% revenue from sales of alcohol. And you can't have alcohol in your blood stream while carrying.

As far as Concealed Handgun carry in Texas, the laws are extremely finite! A public establishment MUST have the correct signage by law (30.06) to restrict authorized licensed carriers. Signs not conforming to 30.06 can also be considered illegal and prosecutable by a CHL holder if harassed about carrying. (I will give on this point…how would they know you are carrying???) Texas does not yet have open carry (I stress yet, it’s on this year’s Texas legislative docket).
One biggie for Texas CHL holders to remember…there is NO legal limit of intoxication while carrying! Blow a .00001 and you are breaking the law.

Crip

Some states also allow off duty officers to carry in every location as an on duty officer. There are only a few locations, mainly federal property. So, even though they may have displayed a no gun policy, it is possible the state law allows them to be there armed.

Hello, BWW has a bar that serves alcohol..

The waiter /waitress who refused to serve them needs a large tip. though they probably got canned for the bad publicity.
I live in VA, and they do allow you to CC in a bar, as long as you aren't drinking. See the VA statute

§18.2-308 (J.3.): No person who carries a concealed handgun onto the premises of any restaurant or club as defined in § 4.1-100 for which a license to sell and serve alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption has been granted by the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board under Title 4.1 of the Code of Virginia; may consume an alcoholic beverage while on the premises. A person who carries a concealed handgun onto the premises of such a restaurant or club and consumes alcoholic beverages is guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor. However, nothing in this subsection shall apply to a federal, state, or local law-enforcement officer.
