You've got the Beanpot tournament. Sully's, The Harp, Green Dragon, Clarke's, Durgin Park, etc., etc., and cheap lobstah. Stay safe.

And, for some guys...the snow is white gold.

LMC-
you're supposed to move SOUTH, not North... ;-) my sister told me this afternoon he had said 'til further notice'- stranding another relative in Town for the entire weekend- so good to hear its only through Sat. & you can tell he's not a true Bostonian by messing with the B's schedule. Boston Beer Works rocks. I visit every time I go back to see the family.
Stay safe, warm & dry.

Yes Sir, Food , everybody seems to buy bread, egg's and milk...(I guess everytime there's a snow storm everybody has French Toast the next day???), water in gallon jugs, batteries that I won't use up in a year, New Generator, shelter, I think I'm all set...oh, wait a moment....information...hmm, oh yea, I bought a battery powered radio. Does that count?

BTW....we have about 9" ( snow) and they are still saying 18 to 24+...maybe I'll go to PR with TR and enjoy the weather!!

There's a new Beer Works Location in Lowell right by the Spinners Ball Park. I'm a card carrying member and I'll buy you your first Beer next time you come "home" ( please tell me you don't drink that awful Blueberry Beer) How about a nice Fenway Pale Ale??

Lowell, huh? North Shore's moving up in the world since I left... I don't drink flavored beers(or coffee), so we're safe. Fenway Pale is pretty good-& I'm always up for a Guiness where available. I'd love to have a beer with a fellow Beer Works fan and MA refugee.

BC wins, of course ! Go Eagles !

The Black Rose brings back some fond memories...and a particulalry friendly flight crew staying at the Parker House one evening a long, long, time ago...but I digress. Thank you for the flashback !

Boston has been through this and probably worse before - no matter what the hype says.

Be safe...hunker down for a couple of days.

Have been watching the weather, WOW! Hope you are all safe!

Heard 30 million people with a foot of snow plus, and hundreds of cars stranded.

Hope that everyone here on PS readed and headed TR's, "Be Prepared," thread!

Holly...toast some marshmellows!

Nice picture! Got about a foot here. Prepared Thurs. night, discovered by snowblower wouldn't start then(clogged carb), so that definitely paid off. I want a cigar, it's too damn cold right now, maybe tomorrow.

If you don't run your power equipment and small engines till the tank is empty before storing them, you need to get a gasoline preservative like Sta-Bil or Pri-G and treat the gas you are using.

Old untreated gasoline will clog carbs and kill engines. The shelf life of untreated gas is 30-90 days, treated gas can be used as long as one to two years later.

If you do not plan to store a lot of gas, every 90 days or so, you can dump the untreated gas into your car, and then refill the cans.

Ethanol laced gasoline is not good for small engines, including marine engines. If you look around, you can still find 100% pure gasoline. I prefer to buy premium grade pure gasoline for my small engines, both two and four stroke, for maximum performance, shelf life, and engine life.

Just a few thoughts.

Absolutely TR, I put stabilizer in all my 2 1/2 gal and 5 gal containers which assures me that ALL my gas is treated. I learned that years ago while storing my motorcycle from October to March !!! It wasnt Pretty! Can't wait to move somewhere where I can get more than 7 months of "proper" weather.I'm thinking anywhere from Orlando SOUTH...not as South as you are!!
