Several of the eastern states, Kentucky and Pennsylvania come to mind, have well developed elk herds and the suburbs of all the eastern states have large deer populations. It will not be long before the grey wolf follows and finds how domesticated and dumbed down they are and the blood bath will begin and Darwin's theory will play out. Natural predator prey relationships are interesting and much different that the current late fall human hunting season which is used as a game management tool.

That would make life a little more interesting here. Add a wolf or puma season to the ole lineup.
I mentioned that very topic to the local dept. of fish and game guy. His response was that grey wolves do not integrate well with human populations the way that 'yotes do, and that they wouldn't survive here in KY. I'm curious if its possible that he is was mistaken.
