Barney Frank, Henry Waxman, Maxine Waters and Grayson were no surprise. I am surprised that I didn't see a couple of them from NC on there though.

Mel Watt (D, NC-12) right on there as I would expect.

Considering NC-12 was painstakingly drawn in Watt's favor, hopefully the Communist will be gone in 2012 when district boundaries get re-drawn. The epic victory this past week enabled conservatives to control both the House and Senate for the first time since 1870.

Correct.
The NC 12th district is only as wide as I-85 between the minority communities it connects.
It does have the effect of making the surrounding districts more conservative and Republican though.

FWIW, I think there's some mis-information here. - The Democratic Socialists of America does not have the document on its website <<LINK>>.
- The list of alleged Socialists in Congress looks like a cut and paste job from the Congressional Progressive Caucus. The current roster of membership is available here.
MOO, this 'story' has gained traction because in contemporary American political discourse, progressivism is equated with socialism, which, in turn, is equated with communism.
In the long run, this equation (P≅S≅C) undermines the ability of conservatives, moderates, and liberals to see charlatans like the current president for what they are. It also undermines the political right's opportunities to claim its share of progressivism's historical legacy--especially within the realm of military and naval affairs. In turn, these "lost opportunities" undermine opportunities to make apolitical arguments in the ongoing discussions about issues like the role of women in the armed forces and DADT.
My $0.02. YMMV.
