For some interesting reading from President John Quincy Adams' pen, go to the "archive" link provided by Richard. Start reading at page 274.

Seems history sometimes repeats itself.

Page 274 in the above link - leads me to believe John Quincy Adams was very familiar with the doctrine of "Hudna" due to the language he used:

The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute {Jizya}; the victorious {apologists for Islam} may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propogate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force"

Hudna > http://www.andrewbostom.org/blog/200...2%80%9D-offer/

Regarding the above video (Muslims Discovered America), it is something I have first hand experience with - the re-writing of history. My daughter was nearly indoctrinated with the "beauty of Islam" by her Muslim teacher. It required several hours to counter/balance what was being put out in her 8th grade classroom by her teacher

The Jihad we see in the classroom now, is "Termite Jihad" > http://www.citizenwarrior.com/2010/0...ite-jihad.html

Just MHO...

Common Defense and General Welfare, they are still in the halls of Congress with a little twist......the Common Defense and General Welfare of the Congressman, the Congressman's re-election, the Party and the status quo in DC.

Hopefully in my lifetime I'll get to see a few of them get tarred and feathered
