And you wonder why terrorists run from Special Forces soldiers?

Toy/game shooting is just that, game shooting.
Was just wondering about that 5 steel target string? Weapon unholstered/low ready or drawn from holster?

Just as a comparison, the fastest strings for the "Smoke and Hope" ( 4 steel plates, 1 stop plate, 7-14 yards ) stage at the 2009 Steel Challenge for Open class ( comped/optics) pistols were c. 1.8-1.9 seconds. The best I have shot that is 3.01 seconds, but that was with a Production class Glock 17.

Tuukka,
This is like comparing "apples and oranges", optics, comped, and most likely very ammo moving as fast as airsoft pellets. Not the same thing. TS

I agree and that is why I specifically mentioned the weapon details , that if the worlds fastest sport pistol shooters can only do that fast, from which starting position could you clean 5 steel targets faster with a standard service pistol?

Even with 5 steel targets spaced evenly and side by side at close range, pistol aimed at the first target you'd need to do .3 sec splits on the plates to get to 1.2 seconds.

And no, the loads are usually quite hot, even in Open ( to get the best pressure to utilize the comps well )

I liked the "Three Kittens" drill. I'll have to try it out next time the oppurtunity presents itself.
