TS,

Strangelove.......STRANGELOVE!!... By jove you've found it! This explains al gore!

BTW and FWIW, Peter Sellers played The British Air Attache, The President, and Dr. Strangelove. He was also supposed play the roll of the buff driver as well. Sellers sustained an injury and was unable to sit astride the bomb...enter Slim Pickens on short notice. Just a great film!! I guess al gore liked it too.

al gore's stupidity is growing faster than the internet he created.

At a climate conference in Dubai:

Quote:
“The North Pole ice cap is 40 percent gone already and could be completely and totally gone in the winter months in the next 5 to 10 years,” he warned.

If the North Pole were to melt it could increase sea levels by 67 metres, Gore said, speaking in the heart of an oil-rich region not known for its regard for the environment.
The ice on the north pole is floating.
If it melts, sea level will not change.

It is truly amazing that some people still listen to this guy.

Yes, they will. They will assume (and prove) that he invented his own defeat in the 2000 presidential election by:
(a) trying to re-invent himself as a populist during his acceptance speech at the 2000 DNC,
(b) not letting the most popular Democrat of the decade campaign on his behalf,
(c) and assailing the Second Amendment in states Democrats had carried in 1996.
and...
(d) Failing to carry his home state as a "favorite son" with a "golden family name" - which would have made Florida totally irrelevant.
