And if that happens there will be no one to blame but himself.
I still hold the feeling that something is not right with this business of the birth certificate.

I agree with Gypsy.
I wonder why we haven't looked into this a little better before now. I would have thought that there would be procedures in place if the question of someone's background came up in order to investigate this.
I believe that most people are blowing it off because:
a.) he was already in politics as a senator, and
b.) because this country has got so caught up in "political correctness" that folks are afraid to do anything because it will cause a race war.
What a crock of crap. I had to get a copy of my birth certificate with a raised seal from the Great Communist State of NY before they would let me sign the paperwork to join the military. I also had to fill out an SF86.
So now my next Commander in Chief doesn't have to do these things?? So much for credibility.

Because the media has supported Obama from Day One, and has been completely deficient in their role as independent fact finders.

Exactly.
All the old media brands of my youth have been tarnished by the opaque varnish of political bias and all but discredited as far as I'm concerned. No one picks up Harpers or Atlantic expecting to read a disinterested story on politics or culture. The New York Times and Washington Post are as likely to have op-eds as news stories on the front page. Newsweek and Time became organs for paint-by-numbers Obamism, teased with People magazine-like gossip pieces. NBC, ABC, and CBS would now make a Chet Huntley or Eric Sevareid turn over in his grave...and I won't even watch CNN after their "TAILWIND: Valley of Death" attempt to blatantly tar the reputation of SF. A Keith Olbermann would not have been allowed to do commercials in the 1950s. Strangely, the MSM has offered up fashionably liberal politics coupled with metrosexual elite tastes in fashions, clothes, housing, food, and the good life, as if there were no contradictions between the two. No wonder they are so enthralled with the cool Obama and his wife...both embody the new nexus between Euro-socialism in the abstract and the hip aristocratic life in the concrete.
I only hope their portrayal of America is as slanted as it appears to me...and not the actual state of the nation as a whole or an ominous prediction of the future.

Admittedly I just briefly skimmed through this...but damn. I personally like the "stupidest provision" of the Constitution. (as so noted by not one but two constitutional "scholars" ) Unbelievable.

I am with you on that one Gypsy. But unlike many of the 'Highly Educated' globalists, I am pro-sovereignty, anti-globalization, I could give a damn what the world thinks and I believe the noobs to the country should assimilate to our culture, our laws and speak our language...not the other way around.
So that probably puts me in the catagory of selfish and shortsighted.

Yea they lost me right after that line, well I think they're poo-poo heads for saying that , I mean really the stupidest provision, my neighbors 4 year old might agree, but a quote on quote constitutional "scholar" writing a serious paper using that terminology, come on really? Two words to describe the author or authors of that garbage, Liberal freaks. Want to include everybody in everything, great I have an idea for them I’ll personally buy them a ticket to recruit their next presidential candidate from Iran or the Somalia, there will be only one catch, it will be a one way ticket.

I did a search of articles on FOX and CNN. Nothing discussing this. Can anyone tell us what came of the deadline? Did the country even care?

I did a quick look at www.scotusblog.com/wp/.
No activity.
The Dec 1st date is not a SCOTUS response date.
I would expect a response to the request by the end of the week??

Fox just reported that SCOTUS will decide on Friday if they will hear this case.

The constitution is over rated anyway...
...besides it was written by a bunch of hillbillies with muzzle loaders.
I am just glad there is an elite class that is willing to explain things to us lowly peasants.

Its just mind-boggling to me that people have bought so far into a man--that hasn't even done anything yet--that we might see our Constitution thrown to the wayside. I'm young, and admittedly unable to grasp what could come of our country if this is the case, but I feel that it is impossible to over exaggerate the impact. I would hate to think all the worst-case, conspiracy theory outcomes could actually come true in my lifetime.
