I've got three XD's, and love em all. an XD45 with the 4", and XD40 TAC and an XD40SC.
I'm going to pick up a 9mm and .357 sig barrel for the 5'' XD40 one of these days... 3 guns for the price of 1.5
from what I've seen, the "M" seems to be just a tad tighter, and with the minor shaping differences, it does feel nice. haven't shot one yet, but I'd expect standard XD perfomance plus a little.
