I have one question. Are new troopers going to know how to spit-shine?

I am trying to picture the uniform with long sleeves, because I believe it would much better than short sleeves. But heck, who is going to wear it aside from formals or boards?

I can't decide if it is an ROTC uniform, or an AF one from McPeake's days.

Bad idea

Bring back the khakis.

When I think of "Army Colors", I think of green, black, tan...but blue? It looks like an Air Force uniform.

I thought jump boots wouldn't be authorized with the blues but in the picture...

And finally, are colored unit patches (SSI) going to disappear? Why should the MCS carry 'em if there is nothing to sew them on. BN

The Class B effort is nothing short of embarrassing. The "combat pin" looks ridiculous - especially with other stuff on the pocket. My goodness
Wear out date is 2014? I'll be wearing my GREENS for my retirement at 30 .

The whole thing looks like some sort of "Food Service" or "Ship Steward" uniform.

"More butter, Sir?"

Ah, to be an Airborne Buck Sergeant in a set of crisp khakis. Those were the days. Sharp looking uniform.

I, for one, do not like the new look. I liked the Ike jacket (before my time), the Khakis, the Dress Greens were OK but if you had to go formal they looked like crap with a white shirt. Blues for formal wear looked good.

This new look tried to blend the Greens utility with the Blues formal look. I think it has failed in both counts.

Just my opinion

Look closely, they are wearing them on the pocket next to DS / Recruiter badges...

New Class A

Please ensure your trey table and seat are in the upright and locked position prior to landing.

Nope. I'm thinking that they have this as effed up as it possibly can be.

Maybe an option for the future would be to get a corporate sponsor and have a space designated for revenue-generating advertisements.

June 2006

Back in June 2006 we talked about this when it first came up.

http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...ht=Dress+Blues

Back then it was a pretty bare uniform, no jump boots, etc. Like I said above, it looks like the compromise was a failure.

FAILED,,

Any and all badges are going to sag like an 80 year olds boobs...

And putting unit crest or patches on the pockets, just looks very sad...

Are they going to put the Army logo on the back??

I'm with TR,, Bring back the Khakis...
