That and, Manny Rameriez will have ALOT more ground to cover, out in Left field. He won't have NO freakin wall behind him backing him up.

.....and BIG POPI, won't be at the game......

He's been seen hanging around with his "hommies" down on Federal Ave.

SWEEP....SWEEP....SWEEP....

I am still pissed the Indians lost, but I hope the Sox sweep. At least I sleep this winter knowing we took them to Game 7.

Unplugged the crowd in the 3rd, but they definately climbed back into it.

What a series for the rookies though.

Ah, Point of Order.

There are two teams in the World Series this year, right?

Not any more.

On another note, Alex Rodriguez opted out of his contract with the Yanks.

Done....

With some pretty amazing statistics. Let's see if free agency doesn't fragment the Red Sox before next season.

Rockies may do better with homegrown talent.

Next two years worth
Royce Clayton SS
Matt Clement RHSP
Eric Gagne CL
Eric hinske RF
Bobby Kielty RF
Mike Lowell 3B
Joe McEwing 1B
Doug Mirabelli C
Curt Schilling RHSP
Julian Tavarez RHRP
Mike Timlin RHRP
Michael Tucker RF
Time Wakefield RHSP

Lowell will get his contract. So will Varitek unless he demands the moon. Mirabelli only catches Wakefield. Losing Schilling would hurt them, but asi es la vida. Same with Timlin. Wakefield isn't going anywhere unless he retires.

As for the rest of them - who?

I expect JD Drew to be gone and I hope Lugo is gone. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jorge Posada end up in Boston. A lot of the Yankees are optioning because Torre is leaving (apparently).

I would love to see Tuliwiski go to Boston to replace Lugo.

There are a lot of catchers on the market next year. Same with OF.

Schilling said in the post-game he wanted to come back...not sure in what capacity but he wants to retire I Red Sox player.

You are right about Lowell and V-tech getting their contracts (I would think). Concern is not so much of who is staying, but who the Sox go fishing for (if anyone). Seems to be a pretty good chemistry right now hate to screw it up with a super-ego(s) floating in.

Pitching did them well, starters and bull-pen, and I am not sure who is coming up through the system if anyone. (Used to stay pretty well tuned to the PawSox when I was back home).

Great frickin' timing on the announcement, too. So much talent, so hard to like.

What a double whammy in the Front Range, courtesy of Brett Favre last night.

Got a call from my dad last night, he was stuck in traffic so he gave me a ring. Seems the job site where he was working locked the doors of the parking garage and wouldn't let anyone out for about 2 hours. He was pretty hacked-off having to wait.

Well, he figured to go out to the street and see what was up.

He was in the middle of the Red Sox parade in Boston.

Said he got some good pictures.
