Here's a link, I think his website is down: http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/glock-gag.html

All you have to do is search, hermano! Birdman rocks!

TR gave solid answers to your questions. A 700 action is a 700 action. I wouldn't get hung up on Remington barrels either.

My advice to you is to head to a gun show and search the used rifles for a beaten up Remington 700 hunting rifle. You should be able to get one for about a hundred bucks. Buy it for the action and then have done what you want done.

His site has been kinda low key for a while. No more nukes or Homey sights and the other clever stuff that he used to have on their.

He's a great dude, and will not sell you a gun if you insist on using an FFL , at least here in state. I purchased one of his last rifles this past year and he insisted that we just meet and trade cash for rifle. The American Way !!! There's nothing illegal about this kind of sale in Kentucky. He's also pretty damn good with an MP5 in full auto. There was a video tape of him on a tactical range, but it's since been loaned out and is not anywhere to be found.

Right now the site just has some vintage coins and nothing else within the firearms category. His FAL stocks are top grade with sniper style pistol grips and recoil reducers. Some can be found for sale on some of the FAL websites.

As I stated in an earlier post Birdman (Darryl) is a close friend of mine. We actually even attended the same church for years until our pastor embezzled all the money and went to prison. Since then most of us have gone our separate ways. I'll let him know that he's got some celebrity status with PS.COM
