Hello from Afghanistan fellow brothers in arm! Been surfing this site for some time now, and just recently registered for an account. Im a former 82nd (2000-2004). Got out and decided to persue an education. Almost finished my BA, then I got the itch and re-enlisted in the National Guard. What you know I got deployed, and now schools on hold for the time being. Glad to be here with you all.

Intro
Thank you to all for your service and sacrifices. I look forward to the wealth of knowledge the people here have to offer.
Right now I am in Iraq working as an analyst. I knew as soon as I enlisted that I was meant to become an SF soldier. Im currently training for selection and I plan to put my packet in as soon as I get redeploy. Thank you again for this forum.

intro
Started off in C/3/75 in 1993, bounced around and ended up in 5th SFG as an 18E from 98-03, moved back out to CA and A/5/19 where I am now one of the fulltimers for 18C4V's company.
Found out about PS through him.
(As of a few months ago, he shoulda changed his screen name to 18Z5V)!

In the mean time I will continue to up date my introduction and read; not post.

Just reenlisted last Friday. I'll be a 68W assigned to the 1/157 light infantry in the Colorado National Guard. Awaiting reception drill and class dates for WTC and AIT.

Hmmm...appearantly I'm still an asset and not a QP. No matter I'll "reintro" myself again, as it might not have taken. I haven't been on the site in quite awhile.
I'm so old my SFAS was still SFOT (Oct 88).
Time spent in 1/7 as an 18B
2/3 as an 18B & 18F
JRTC as an O/C
1/7 as an 18F
SWC at the NCOA...Instructor for IPB and MDMP (01-05)
3/7 as an 18Z and 1SG
Currently awaiting the ugly move to Taco Tech.

MS I ROTC Cadet, first met an SF guy last Fall during BRM (MSG Butcher, teaches at Norwich, no idea what detachment he's from though) and have been inspired ever since. Will continue lurking, reading, and training - long way to go to my goals.

Hi,
A few of you may know me from elsewhere.
I was a prior enlisted Royal Marines officer. Retired in 2006 and now a security consultant. Did all the usual gigs that British troops deployed on since the late 80s, apart from the 1st Gulf War.
